Hill Earns AP All-American Honors

Josh Hill was named to the AP All-American team.
POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State senior tight end Josh Hill has been named to the AP third-team All-American team. Hill is the first tight end in program history to earn All-American accolades and this is the first time he has received All-American status in his career. This is the fourth straight year Idaho State has produced an All-American.

Hill caught 70 passes, the second most on the team in 2012, for 630 yards and five touchdowns. He has already been named to the second-team all-Big Sky Conference team. For his career he finished with 143 receptions and 1,270 yards and nine touchdowns. This year he had a career-high 12 receptions two different times, most recently at Cal Poly and he had a career-high 123 yards receiving vs. Sacramento State.

“From the end of last season to the final play of the 2012 season no player improved more than Josh Hill,” Idaho State coach Mike Kramer said. “He worked extremely hard all season and it showed by his production on the field.”

The Big Sky Conference placed 15 players on the Associated Press Division I  Football Championship Subdivision All-America Team, leading all conferences in selections.
