BENGALS HOST ISU OPEN

Idaho State track and field hosts their final meet of the indoor season this weekend with the ISU Open at Holt Arena. Field events begin at 5 p.m. with the men's weight throw. Track events begin at 6 p.m. with the 60m hurdles.

CAMILLE MARCHAND    
Senior Camille Marchand was named Bengal Athlete of the Week for her wins in the 60m and 200m dashes at the Mountain States Games. Marchand holds the school record in the 60m dash with a time of 7.60 from the Jackson's Invitational. Her time of 24.65 in the 200m from the Mountain States Games ranks third all-time for the Idaho State indoor 200m.

JESSE SORENSEN
Jesse Sorensen has qualified in the 200m and 400m this season. He leads the conference in the 400m with his time of 48.34 from the Jackson's Invitational. He ranks sixth in the 200m with his time of 22.08 from the Snake River Open.

BENGAL WOMEN QUALIFIERS
Hayli Worthington hit a Big Sky mark in the women's 400m with a time of 56.94 at the Mountain States Games. Worthington is the returning Big Sky Champion in the 400m hurdles. Another returning Big Sky Champion, Chloe Palakovich, hit a Big Sky mark of 2:09.53 in the women's 800m.  Kylie Hutchison qualified in the women's 3000m with a time of 10:00.92. Audrey Urlacher qualified in the 5000m at the Mountain States Games with a time of 17:28.80. Andrea Vicic qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the pentathlon with a score of 3395 points. She is the first Bengal to qualify in the multi-events.

Caitlin Maulin leads the conference in the pole vault with her height 12-09.50 from the Mountain States Games. Samantha Berryman also hit a Big Sky mark in the women's pole vault at the Mountain States Games.

BENGAL MEN QUALIFIERS
Andy Lish qualified for the 200m at the Mountain States Games with a time of 22.01. Bryce Jenkins qualified in the 5000m with a time of 14:53.94. Andy Curry and Steven Wacker qualified in the pole vault at the Mountain States Games. Curry ranks third in the conference for the pole vault. Mike O'Farrell became the first Bengal to qualifying in a throwing event with his throw of 52-01.75.
