POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State men's basketball team has added Balint Moscan, a 6-5 wing from Hungary. Moscan has been playing for the U-20 Hungary national team and he recently scored 20 points against the Czech Republic.
Moscan is also considered an exceptional defender. In 2015 he competed with the U-18/19 Hungary National team. He averaged 13.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.3 steals. He shot 47.9 percent from the field and 79.4 percent from the free throw line while playing 26.4 minutes a game.
"We are excited to have a young man in our program that has excelled in international competition," Idaho State coach
Bill Evans said. "We have a young man that is not only an excellent player but an outstanding student as well. We are excited to have him in our program and look forward to great things from him."
