Megan Beckstead begins her second year as assistant coach at Idaho State.

Beckstead, formally Megan Stainbrook, played from 2008 to 2011. She received an All-Big Sky  Honorable mention nod her junior year and was a four year Big Sky All-Academic team member.

She was also named a captain her senior season.

She received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science ISU and has coached boys and girls youth soccer since graduation.

Beckstead’s sister is current Bengal freshman Caitlyn Stainbrook. Her sister Allyson Stainbrook also played for the team. She is married to current ISU football player Mitch Beckstead.
