Stephanie Beall enters her fifth overall season as assistant coach with Idaho State. Beall previously worked in the same capacity from 2010-14.
Since departing Pocatello in Jan. 2014, Beall has been working as a health coach for American Specialty Health in San Diego, Calif.in addition to working as an assistant soccer coach for San Diego Mesa College since Aug. 2015. Beall has also worked as an adjunct exercise science professor at San Diego Mesa since Aug. 2016. During her time with the Olympians, Beall was responsible for training and managing the goalkeepers in addition to assisting Head Coach Tom Curran with any team training needs.
During Beall’s first stint with the Bengals during the 2010-14 seasons, she was responsible for training the goalkeepers in addition to handling all of the program’s operational duties including but not limited to: managing team travel, managing and ordering equipment, fundraising, ISU soccer camp management, academic support and monitoring. During her time as assistant coach, Beall helped the Bengals to a 2012 regular-season and tournament championship in addition to coaching then-freshman goalkeeper Sheridan Hapsic to a 2012 Big Sky Conference MVP honor.
Prior to Beall’s arrival at Idaho State, she worked for the 2008-09 seasons with the University of Idaho soccer program, training the goalkeepers and spearheading the Vandals recruiting efforts. She was also responsible for film review, breakdown and creating highlight videos as well as planning, organizing and facilitating youth and high school soccer camps.
Beall played collegiate soccer at the University of San Francisco as the Dons goalkeeper from 2000-04. During her career, she recorded a 21-6 record including 13 shutouts. Beall was named team captain as a senior and earned the Green and Gold Club Loyalty Award.
Beall holds a master’s of science in leadership and recreation and physical activity from the University of Idaho (2010) and earned a bachelor’s of science in exercise and sports from USF in 2004.
Beall holds a National "C" License from the United States Soccer Federation, a NSCAA National Diploma, is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is a Certified Health and Wellness Coach.
