Idaho State Falls to Weber State in Big Sky Volleyball

Ogden, UT---The Weber State Wildcats hit a sizzling .358 for the match and handed the Idaho State Bengals their third straight Big Sky Conference loss, 30-18, 30-16, 30-22, in volleyball action Friday night at the Dee Events Center.

The Bengals never led in any of the three games and hit just .086 for the match. Melanie Tucker led ISU with 10 kills and eight digs, both team highs. Jennie James had seven kills and seven blocks.

Stephanie Kropushek led the way for the victorious Wildcats with 15 kills, against just one error, in 27 attacks for a .519 attack percentage. She also had 10 digs to post a double-double. Holly Montano was the only other Wildcat in double figures in kills with 11.

With the loss the Bengals fall to 7-13 overall and 1-6 in Big Sky Conference play. Weber State improves to 13-7 and 4-3. ISU will return to action on Friday, October 25 when they host Northern Arizona at 7 p.m. in Reed Gymnasium.
