Box Score

Bozeman, MT --- Idaho State allowed Montana State to score 44 second half points, wiping out a 31-29 ISU halftime advantage as the Bobcats continued to surge with a 73-65 win over the Bengals.

The loss flip-flops ISU and Montana State in the standings, putting the Bengals in fourth place.

Idaho State bolted out of the gate, scoring the first six points, and ISU led 23-12 before an 11-0 run tied the game at 23. ISU went back on top on a Rashad Kirkland jumper, and ISU eventually led 31-29 after a pair of Marquis Poole free throws.

Coming out of the half, Montana State took the lead for good with an opening 11-2 run. The Bobcats pushed the lead to 59-50 when Pete Conway hit the biggest basket of the night. After a jump ball forced the Bobcats to inbound with only two seconds on the shot clock, Conway got the ball 25-feet away from the basket, and hit a three as the horn sounded to make it 62-50.

ISU was able to whittle the lead down to five on three occasions, the last on a David Schroeder field goal with 25.7 left, but MSU broke ISU's press and got a Shea Washington dunk to put the game away.

Schroeder and Scott Henry had 13 each, and Poole and Kirkland each had 10. ISU only shot .393 from the field, and committed an uncharacteristic 18 turnovers to just nine assists.
