Idaho State Soccer Falls 1-0 to UNLV in Las Vegas Thursday Night

Las Vegas, NV--Idaho State's soccer team fell 1-0 Thursday night to UNLV in Las Vegas. The 1-0 loss marks the first time this season that the Bengals were shutout by a team.

With the loss, Idaho State falls to 5-3-1 overall on the season. With the win, UNLV snags its fifth straight, helping to improve it's record to 6-2-2 on the season.

The Rebels scored in the 17th minute when Ashly O'Harrow received a pass from teammate Jessica Brown. O'Harrow then put a shot past ISU goalie Shannon Boyle to the left side of the net for the game's lone goal.

The remainder of the match was even on both sides as both teams finished with seven shots. The Bengals had four shots on goal compared to UNLV's five.

Shawna Park and Natalie Graham led the Bengals with two shots each. Park had a team-high two shots on goal.

The Bengals will continue road play on Saturday, traveling to Utah Valley State in Orem, Utah. The game was slated to begin at 1 p.m., but has been changed to noon.
