ISU Women's Tennis Falls 6-1 to Weber State in Big Sky Opener

Pocatello, ID--The Idaho State women's tennis team dropped its Big Sky opener 6-1 Wednesday to Weber State at Reed Gym. The Bengals fall to 3-3 overall, 0-1 in Big Sky play. The Wildcats up their record to 3-4 overall, 2-0 in league play.

ISU's Hayli Scott and Melissa Bessman teamed up to pick up the lone doubles win--an 8-2 win over Weber's Brianna Beauchene and Chelsee Drews.

Armine Sarkavagyan snagged the only win in singles competition for the Bengals. She defeated WSU's Kate Ennenga 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 at the No. 4 spot.
