Las Vegas, NV-Idaho State men's tennis dropped a 5-2 decision to UNLV Friday afternoon at the Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Bengals picked up two singles wins and a doubles victory in the effort.
ISU's Ioannis Stavridis and Marc Pijoan teamed up to defeat UNLV's Milos Blagojevic and Aviram Salomon 8-2 at second doubles. Pijoan also picked up a 6-4, 7-5 win at fifth singles over UNLV's Blagojevic. Also recording a win for the Bengals was Pablo Garces at sixth singles. Garces defeated Derek Douglas 6-3, 6-0.
The Bengals will be back in action when they return to Pocatello to host Big Sky foe Northern Arizona on March 26.
