Women's Tennis Squad Falls 6-1 at Utah State

Logan, UT--The Idaho State women's tennis team fell 6-1 to Utah State Monday afternoon in Logan, Utah. The Bengals fall to 8-8 on the season, while Utah State improves to 5-11.

Katherine Zigars picked up the lone singles match for the Bengals. Zigars defeated Utah State's Andrea Hansen in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2 at sixth singles. ISU did pick up a doubles win. ISU's Hayli Scott and Melissa Bessman teamed up to defeat USU's Lindsey Bennion and Carolyn Stephens 9-8(3).

The Bengals have the rest of the week off before heading to Ogden, Utah to take on Big Sky foe Weber State on April 20.
