Ogden, UT--After dropping all three doubles matches to go down 1-0, Idaho State rallied, taking four of the six singles matches to defeat Big Sky foe Weber State 4-3 Tuesday at the Ogden Athletic Club.
Idaho State's Ivan Moferdin started the rally, defeating WSU's Jonathan Engelbrecht 6-4, 7-6 at No. 1 singles. Marc Pijoan followed suit at second singles by defeating Mathis Saberon in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. Masimba Ruwo took a 6-1, 6-2 win over Weber's Zach Levetan at third singles, and Jemre Okoh secured ISU's victory with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles over CJ Adamson.
The Bengals will have some time off before continuing play March 5 at Brigham Young. The ISU women will take on Weber State on Feb. 17 in Ogden.
