Pocatello, ID--Nikki Havens recorded her 1,000th kill as a Bengal and led the team with 12 kills but it wasn't enough as Idaho State dropped a 3-0 (27-30, 22-30, 14-30) decision to league-leading Sacramento State Saturday night at Reed Gym.
The loss drops the Bengals to 8-13 overall, 4-4 in Big Sky Conference play. Sacramento State improves to 18-4 overall, 6-0 in league play.
"We played them (Sacramento State) strong in the first game," said ISU head coach Mike Welch. "After that first game our offense dropped off and never regained form."
