Air Force Sneaks Past Idaho State 4-3

USAFA, Colo. - The Idaho State men's tennis team was defeated by Air Force 4-3 Friday afternoon at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. The Bengals and Air Force improve their records to 4-2. Masimba Ruwo won both his doubles and his singles matches.

Idaho State earned victories in two of the three doubles matches leading them 1-0 early in the match. Pablo Garces and Alex Danilkovich defeated Justin Lau and Keith Cronican at No. 2 doubles. Ruwo and Ryo Sakamoto fought tough for their victory against Robby Alexandar and Ryan White 9-8 (3).

The Bengals won two of their singles matches, unfortunately not enough to defeat Air Force. Ruwo defeated Alexandar 7-5, 7-5 at the No. 4 singles spot. Alan Mohadeb fought tough to defeat Greg Ferry in three sets 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 6 spot.
