Utah Valley Handles the Bengals Down in Orem.

Orem, UT - The trip to Utah not kind to the Idaho State Bengals as they fall to Utah Valley 3-0 (19-30, 28-30, 24-30) Saturday night in Orem. This coming one night after the Bengals lost to Weber State in Ogden. ISU has now lost four straight.

Kolay Mickelsen led the Bengal charge with a career high 12 kills. She also chipped in defensively with 4 blocks. Ashlyn McDowell also contributed with 8 kills on only 12 attacks. Her 8 kills matched a season high for her. McDowell also picked up 4 blocks. Emily Waldron was the only Bengal to reach double digit digs with 10.

Kayli Broadbent had 15 kills for the Wolverines. Allyce Wilson reached down for 18 digs.

Idaho State will return to conference play with a road match against Sacramento State. That match will begin 8 pm MT. Following that, the Bengals return home for their final two home matches of the season when they host Northern Colorado November 8th and Northern Arizona on November 10th.
