Season Ends for Bengals with 3-0 Loss in Montana

Missoula, MT --- The Idaho State Bengals end their season with a 3-0 (26-30, 21-30, 26-30) loss to the Montana Grizzlies Saturday night in Missoula. The Bengals finish with a 6-23 overall record and 2-14 in the Big Sky Conference. The Grizzlies end with a 10-16 overall record and 6-10 in conference. Idaho State sits in eighth place in the Big Sky standings while Montana is seventh, just missing the Big Sky tournament.

Britta Bartschi topped the Bengals with 11 kills hitting .368. The lone senior on the Bengals roster, Katie Edgson led them with 12 digs. In her final match, she also recorded three kills.

Montana's offensive attack was led by Jamie Thibeault with 11 kills. Jackie White had 16 digs.

Idaho State will now get ready for the 2008 season.
