Bengals Lack Execution in 3-0 Loss at Sacramento State

Sacramento, CA - The Idaho State Bengals lose their fifth straight match as they fall to Sacramento State 3-0 (18-30, 13-30, 13-30) in the state capital of California Saturday night. Idaho State drops to 5-20 overall and 1-11 in conference play. The Hornets improve to 23-6 overall and 10-2 in Big Sky.

The Bengals struggled with execution as they had more errors (21) than they had kills (19). Charlee Kinghorn and Sarah Carson led the Bengals in kills with 6 each. Emily Waldron topped Idaho State in digs with 9.

Sacramento State out-hit Idaho State .339 to -.021. The Hornets were led by Jennifer Ferguson who had 14 kills and 12 digs. Missie Stidham had 15 kills while hitting .520 for the match.

Idaho State will return to Reed Gym for their final home stand of the season when they host Northern Colorado November 8th and Northern Arizona November 10th.
