ISU Men's Tennis Defeated by Air Force

Colorado Springs, CO--ISU Men's Tennis was defeated by Air Force 6-1 at the Air Force Academy Friday afternoon. The Bengals were forced to default two singles matches and one doubles match. Air Force Academy's season record is now 4-5.

The Bengals won one of the three doubles matches putting them behind 1-0 to Air Force. Gal Horovits and Masimba Ruwo teamed up to defeat James Tomlin and Keith Cronican 8-4 at number one.

Idaho State won one of six singles contests after default two singles matches to take the 6-1 loss. Senior Masimba Ruwo won his first match at the number one spot for the Bengals by defeating Mike Youn in a super-tie breaker 4-6, 6-3 (10-4). Freshman Jeremy Atkin also went to a super-tie-breaker but lost to his opponent Austin Francis 6-3, 4-6 (10-7)

The Bengals next match will be against Weber State in Ogden February 13th at noon.
