Salt Lake City, UT -- The Idaho State men's tennis team began their season against the University of Utah on Wednesday February 7. Idaho State was defeated by a team score of seven to zero.
Idaho State's Masimba Ruwo nearly defeated Utah's Othman Zerouli-Ouariti. Ruwo played Zerouli-Quariti to sets of 7-6, 7-5. Idaho State played in three doubles matches and six singles matches. Utah came away with victories in each of the matches.
Idaho State will next compete Friday Feb. 9 against South Dakota St. in Colorado Springs, CO.
