ISU Women's Tennis Swept by Northern Arizona

Flagstaff, AZ--The ISU women's tennis team was defeated by Northern Arizona University 7-0 Saturday afternoon at the Flagstaff Athletics Club East. The Bengals season record falls to 1-3.

The Bengals lost all three doubles points putting them behind 1-0. Lisel Lewis and Stephanie Roldan fought tough but fell to Regan Newman and Paji Porter 8-6 at number three. In singles play, Lewis battled tough against opponent Patrice Biemold but was defeated 7-5, 6-1 at the number one spot. Roldan went to a tie-breaker against Stephanie Randall but fell 6-4, 7-6 (5) at the number six singles spot. The Bengals next match will occur on March 25th against Eastern Washington at home in Reed Gym at 2:00 p.m.
