Pocatello, ID-- ISU Men's Tennis was defeated by Sacramento State 6-1 at Reed Gym Sunday afternoon on the outdoor courts. Gal Horovits gained a victory for the Bengals the number one singles spot. ISU's season record falls to 1-7.
The Bengals lost all three doubles matches putting them behind 1-0.
Idaho State won one of six singles contests to take the 6-1 loss. Horovits defeated Xavier Barajas-Smith 6-2, 6-4 at the number one singles spot. Horovits' season record improves to 3-5. Senior Masimba Ruwo played tough but was overcome by Anton Stryhas 6-4, 6-1 at the number two singles spot.
The Bengals next match will be against Eastern Washington in Reed Gym March 25th at 10 am.
