Utah State Sneaks Past Idaho State 1-0 in Overtime

Logan, UT--Utah State's Dana Peart put a ball in the back of the net in the 98th minute to help the Aggies sneak past Idaho State 1-0 in overtime Sunday afternoon at the Chuck and Gloria Bell Soccer Field. The loss is the second-straight for ISU, which falls to 2-3-1, while Utah State improves to 3-4-0.

The lone score of the game came at the 97:54 mark when USU's Peart headed a crossed ball towards the far post and into the net for the game winner. Teammate Lindsey Smart was credited with the assist.

Coming off a nine-save night against Utah on Friday night, ISU keeper Maren Eves upped the save count to a career-high 12 against Utah State on Sunday. Eves faced 23 shots, including 13 on goal.

Kilee Quigley led the Bengal offense with a team-high two shots, while Natalie Graham, Chelsea Cox, Michelle Okumura, Lauren Hough, and Karissa Henage each tallied one. As a team, Idaho State registered eight shots with four on goal compared to USU's 23 shots and 13 on goal.

The Bengals return home to host the Idaho State Classic Friday and Sunday at Davis Field. ISU will face San Jose State on Friday at 4 p.m., and Air Force on Sunday at 2 p.m.
