Complete Sacramento State Results 
Sacramento, CA--The Idaho State women's tennis team fell to 46th nationally ranked Sacramento State 7-0, in a conference match Thursday afternoon. Sacramento State improves their season to 13-4, 5-0 in Big Sky Conference play while the Bengals fell to 2-6, and 0-4 in Big Sky play.
Sophomore Lisel Lewis fought hard and took an impressive lead when she captured the first set from Melissa Valenzuela 7-6. Lewis was then overcome by Valenzuela 6-1 in the second set taking the players into a super-ten point tie breaker. Lewis played well and led 6-3 in the tie breaker before Valenzuela captured seven out of the nine following points to take the victory.
The Bengals captured multiple games at the number five and six spots. Senior Valerie Espinosa took three games from Joyce Martinez Gutierrez when she was defeated 6-2 at the number five spot. Sophomore Magaly Rivera gained two games from her opponent Aileen Tsan when she fell 6-2, 6-0 at the number six spot.
Idaho State's next match will occur against Utah State on April, 1st at 6:00 p.m. in Logan, UT.
