Complete Weber State Results 
Ogden, UT--The Idaho State men's tennis team dropped their last match of the season to Weber State 6-1 at the Ogden Athletic Club Wednesday afternoon. The Wildcats improve their Big Sky record to 6-1 for the season. Idaho State finished the season with a 2-14 record and a 2-6 Big Sky record.
Senior Marc Pijoan finished his last match as a Bengal with the lone singles victory over Henning Hipp 6-4, 6-1 at the number one spot. Pijoan improved his singles record to 11-5 for the season and kept Hipp to only five games as opposed to seven games when they competed in the Bengals first match of the season.
Pijoan has had a great career as a Bengal. Pijoan finishes his career with a 42-30 singles record and a 73-68 combined singles and doubles career record. He received first team all conference honors from 2004-06 and received Big Sky Player of the week in 2006. Pijoan is the only senior on the team but his absence from the court will be felt deeply by the Bengals.
In doubles Pijoan teamed with Freshman Danel Barrenechea at the number one doubles spot. They fell 8-4 to Sascha Kiehne and Fabio Mancarella. Sophomores Javier Royo and Jeremy Atkin were defeated by Hipp and Nick Plum 8-4 at the number two doubles spot. Travis Covington and Ryan Garner competed well to overcome Sophomore David Kutchins and Freshman Alex Buceta 8-1 at the number three doubles spot.
Royo fought hard but fell 6-2, 6-1 against Sascha Kiehne 6-2, 6-1 at the number two doubles spot. Barrenechea was overcome by his opponent Fabio Mancarella 6-1, 6-0 at the number four spot. Taking three games from his opponent Buceta fell to Plum 6-0, 6-3 at the number fours singles spot. Atkin was defeated by Chris Williams 6-2, 6-0 at the number five spot while Kutchins fell to Garner 6-1, 6-2 at the number six spot.
