Flagstaff, AZ-Idaho State's men's and women's tennis teams were swept 7-0 by Northern Arizona on Sunday afternoon with the men hitting the courts first at the Flagstaff Athletic Club. Each Bengal squad competed in its third conference game of the season falling to 0-3 and 0-9 for the season.

The men's team opened play with a tight doubles match at the number one spot as junior Javier Royo and Danel Barrenechea teamed up for the first time this season before falling 9-7 to David Flodberg and Jacob Tracy. Freshman Dan Buckingham and junior David Kutchins fell 8-4 to Chris Arena and Jaco Visagie at the number three doubles spot.

Royo led the Bengals at the number one spot with a 6-2, 6-2 loss to Andrew Reiff. Sophomore Alex Buceta had a competitive match with Flodberg taking the Lumberjack to 6-4 in the first set, but Flodberg overcame with a 6-2 second set at the number three singles spot. Ross DeChant fell in a 6-1, 6-1 decision to Robin Pezzutto at the number four spot. Andres Mancero was overcome 6-1, 6-2 to Lumberjack Tracy at the number six spot. The Northern Arizona men's team improved to 3-1 in conference play and 5-14 for the season.

The women's team struggled in Flagstaff as ISU dropped all three doubles contests to start the dual match down 0-1. Junior Lisel Lewis led the Bengals at the number one spot, but fell 6-1, 6-2 to Edit Suhajda. Sophie Dang, a junior, fell 6-0, 6-1 to Kim Van Ginkel at the number two spot. Idaho State forfeited the number three doubles and number six singles spots due to a reduced roster. The Northern Arizona women's team improved to 3-1 in the Big Sky and 8-8 for the season.

The men's team will travel to Las Vegas to play UNLV on Tuesday March 24 at 9 a.m. The women's tennis team will head back to Pocatello to host three home matches beginning with Portland State on Sunday, March 29 at 9 a.m.
