Bozeman, MT-Junior Lisel Lewis fell in her first third set super ten-point tiebreaker of the season to Montana's Liz Walker at the No. 1 singles spot. Walker improved to a season record of 13-7 at the No. 1 spot for the Griz. Idaho State was swept by Montana 7-0 as the Griz improved to 10-7 for the season and 4-3 in the Big Sky while Idaho State fell to 0-15 for the season and 0-7 in conference play.

Lewis fell 6-1 in the first set to Walker as the Bengal came out of a quick 8-0 loss to Walker and Martyna Nowak at the No. 1 doubles spot with partner Stephanie Roldan. Lewis would dig deep to overcome Walker 6-4 in the second set, a feat that has occurred only eight times for the Walker this season. However, the Griz was able to pull out the third set tiebreaker, 10-5, over Lewis.

Idaho State began the contest down 0-1 as they dropped both doubles contests. Freshman Risa Fujiwara and junior Sophie Dang were defeated by Rebecca Bran and Kayla Moyse 8-1 at the No. 2 doubles spot. Due to lack of players the Bengals forfeited the No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles contests.

At the No. 2 singles spot Dang fell 6-2, 6-2 to R. Bran while senior Roldan was overcome 6-1, 6-0 by Amanda Bran at the No. 3 singles spot. Fujiwara fell 6-1, 6-0 to Nowak at the No. 4 position and senior Kelli Ogborn fell 6-0, 6-0 to Cara Lehman at the No. 6 spot.

Idaho State will play its final match of the season against Montana State at the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center on Saturday, April 18 at 9 a.m.
