Though Weber State led the offensive rebounds in the first half with 13 the Wildcats scored just 10 points off of second chances.

The Bengals shot 52.2 percent (12-of-23) in the first half alone. Senior Iacovita led the hot shooting for Idaho State with 13 points hitting 5-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 from the line. She also posted a career-high tying three blocks in the first period alone.

The Bengals took their largest lead of nine four times in the second half. ISU's first nine point lead was at the 17:43 mark and its last was with 12:33 remaining off a layup by Vella. Weber State would post an 8-0 run to drop ISU's lead to two points holding the Bengals scoreless for nearly four minutes of play.

Senior Devin Diehl would snap the Bengals back into the place with a deep baseline trey. Freshman Kaela Oakes would make the steal that would turn into a layup for Iacovita. Weber State would then go on an 8-2 run capped by a jump shot from Sarah Conner who recorded seven points in the game, putting the Wildcats down by one, 47-46.

Weber State's Joey O'Neill who led the Wildcats in scoring and rebounding with a double-double would miss her only free throw attempt and the chance to tie the game with 1:46 on the clock. O'Neill recorded 12 points, 5-of-7 from the field and 2-of-3 from the line, and 10 rebounds. Weber State would foul to slow down the clock, but Videbeck wouldn't allow the Wildcats an opportunity to get back in the game as she hit 10-of-10 from the line.

The Wildcats leading scorer Caitlin Anderson who averaged 11.8 points per game for the season was shut out of the contest as the Bengals held her to zero points.
