Moore Returns Two Kicks for Touchdowns in Bengal Loss at No. 12 Montana

MISSOULA, Mont.- Tavoy Moore broke his own school record for all-purpose yards in a game as he had 323 on Saturday afternoon at No. 12 Montana. He became only the third player in Idaho State history to return a kickoff for 100-yards and he also returned punt 84-yards for a touchdown later in the fourth quarter. Moore's play wasn't enough as Idaho State lost 47-28 at No. 12 Montana in front of a crowd of 25,568 at Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

Moore now has three kickoff returns for a touchdown, tying a Big Sky record with Bashir Livingstson of Eastern Washington in 1998.

Moore previously set the school record for all-purpose yards with 318 at Northern Colorado earlier in the year.

Russel Hill passed for 142 yards in three quarters of play and Kelvin Krosch caught five passes for 59 yards and one touchdown while Phil Pleasant rushed nine times for 37 yards. For the second time this season A.J. Storms had 20 tackles, tying his career high.

The Bengal defense forced three Montana turnovers, led by Jarrid Nash recording his first-career interception and recovering a fumble.

Jake Hutton put the Bengals on the scoreboard with his first career touchdown with 2:38 left in the first half on one-yard run. The ISU drive took 10 plays on 80 yards and lasted 5:25. Idaho State then cut the Montana lead to 30-14 with 4:46 left in the third quarter when Hill connected with Krosch on an eight-yard reception.

Moore's first touchdown was the 100-yard kickoff return with 10:24 to play in the game. He then had his 84-yard punt return with 1:42 left in the contest.

Idaho State returns to the field on Saturday at 3:35 p.m. when it hosts Weber State.
