Sacramento, CA - Idaho State (1-9, 0-4 BSC) ended its five-game road streak with a 7-0 loss to Big Sky Conference leader #53 Sacramento State (14-5, 5-0 BSC) at the Rio Del Oro Racquet Club on Sunday afternoon.

The Bengals fell in all three doubles contests to start the match down 0-1. Senior Sophie Dang and sophomore Rilee Moorhead were overcome 8-4 by Gayahe Sarkisian and Maria Meliuk at the No. 2 position.

In singles, Dang fell 6-0, 6-1 to Rebeca Delgado at the No. 2 position while Moorhead was overcome 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 3 spot by Meliuk. Freshman Amy Bettis fell 6-0, 6-2 to Milica Zivanovic at the No. 4 spot.

Hornet Tatsiana Kapshai defeated senior Lisel Lewis 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 1 spot. Freshman Rachel Ryan was overcome 6-1, 6-0 by Zalina Nazarova at the No. 6 spot. Risa Fujiwara, a sophomore, was the last off the courts falling 6-0, 6-1 to Sarkisian at the No. 5 position.

The Bengals return home to host Northern Colorado at Reed Gym on Saturday, April 3 at 10 a.m.
