Pocatello, Idaho- Idaho State (5-10, 1-2) returns to the road for a two-game swing at first-place Northern Colorado (8-7, 4-0) on Thursday, Jan. 13 and at Weber State, Saturday, Jan 15. Both games can be seen on Big Sky TV and heard live on 930 KSEI with

Idaho State leads the overall series 30-15 but Northern Colorado has won four of the last six meetings against the Bengals. The last two wins over the Bears came in the 2008-09 season when ISU won 67-60 in the Big Sky Tournament and 62-61 in Pocatello on Jan. 1. The last time Idaho State won in Greeley was on Jan. 3, 2008 by a score of 76-65.
Northern Colorado is led by the play of Devon Beitzel's 19.6 points a game. He is shooting 49.7 percent from the field. Neal Kingman is scoring 12.4 points a game and Chris Kaba is netting 11 points. The Bears are scoring 73.1 points a game and shooting 44.7 percent from the field.

In the most recent NCAA RPI rankings, Idaho State is No. 260. The highest ranked RPI of a Bengal opponent is Arizona at 32. Utah State is 51 while Creighton is 101. Colorado is ranked 108 while Montana 130, Northern Colorado 137, Iowa 152, Weber State 156, Western Michigan 171, Montana State 206, UMKC 210, South Dakota State 214, Portland State 254, Troy 311, Eastern Washington 326 and Sacramento State 343.
Rebounding Machine
Deividas Busma continues to lead Idaho State in rebounding as he is currently averaging 8.0 a contest. In the last five games he is bringing down 11 boards a games. He has had three straight games of double-figure rebounds prior to the Northern Arizona game. Against Western Michigan he had a career-best 14 and he followed that with 12 against Sacramento State on Dec. 31 and 11 against Portland State. In Big Sky games Busma is averaging 10.7 boards.
All-Around Type of Player
Since coming to Idaho State
Chase Grabau hasn't wasted any time in filling up the stat sheet. In conference all his stats have gone up as he is averaging 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and shooting 63 percent from the floor in the Bengals three Big Sky games. In nonconference play Grabau averaged 6.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and shot 47.8 percent from the floor.
Starters Torch the Nets
In the overtime loss to Northern Arizona the Bengal starting lineup shot 27-for-45 from the field, good for 60 percent.
Mike Lacey was a perfect 3-for-3,
