POCATELLO, Idaho- After spending the week in finals, the Idaho State men's basketball team travels to Salt Lake City for a 7 p.m. contest at Utah on Friday, December 16. The game can be heard live on 930 AM with
Jerry Miller calling the action. This is the third straight road game for ISU.

SERIES INFO VS. UTAH
Utah leads the overall series 18-3. The last time the two teams met was Dec. 5, 2009 in Salt Lake City where Utah won 68-56. A year earlier, Idaho State defeated the Utes 72-68 in Pocatello. Idaho State is 0-12 against Utah in Salt Lake City. The two other Bengal wins over the Utes came on a neutral court on March 11, 1959, a game ISU won 71-65 and in the 1935-36 season, a 35-30 victory.
SCOUTING UTAH
Utah is 1-8 and led in scoring by Josh Watkins 17.3 points a game. Jason Washburn is scoring 10.2 points and averaging a team-best 6.8 rebounds. Utah is averaging 56.9 points a game and shooting 40.8 percent from the field. Utah is 1-3 at home this year.
BENGALS VS. PAC 12
Since the 1976-77 season, Idaho State is 3-23 against Pac 12 schools. The last time Idaho State defeated a Pac 12 team was a 62-57 win at Oregon in the 1986-87 season. Idaho State has lost 17 straight against Pac 12 team's but only two of those 17 games have been at home. Those two home games was against Washington State in the 2007-08 year and Washington in the 1993-94 season. Of the 26 meetings against Pac 12 teams, since the 1976-77, only five have been played in Pocatello.
THE WEEK THAT WAS
Idaho State suffered two road set backs last week, losing 79-55 at Boise State and 80-72 in overtime at Loyola Marymount.
Kenny McGowen led the Bengals in scoring at LMU with 21 points while
Chase Grabau had 12 points at Boise State. ISU shot 44.7 percent from the field at Boise State and 44.4 percent at Loyola Marymount.
BENGALS IN OVERTIME
In the last 10 years, the Bengals are 12-23 in overtime games. Since Joe O'Brien has been head coach ISU has played 21 overtime games, winning five. The most overtime games ISU has played during the 10-year stretch is five in 2006-07, 2008-09 and 2001-02.
