Bengals Play in PCSC Crossover at Sacramento State

ISU plays CSU Bakersfield, Saint Mary's and Sacramento State.

Idaho State plays in against fellow PCSC foes this weekend at Sacramento State.

POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State returns to the field to play in the PCSC Crossover Tournament hosted by Sacramento State. The Bengals play Feb. 25-27 against CSU Bakersfield, Sacramento State and Saint Mary's. Fans can follow live stats of all Bengal softball games this weekend by logging onto isubengals.com. Jessica Baca is two RBI's away from being the program's all-time leader in RBI's.

Idaho State went 1-4 in its season-opening series last weekend at Arizona State. The Bengals defeated conference foe Seattle 8-0 and lost to Arizona State, Illinois State and Iowa. Brittany Olsin went 7-for-14 on the weekend, hitting .500 with one home run, five RBIs and 3 three doubles. Kandis Clesson earned the win against Seattle by pitching a complete game, allowing five hits and striking out five.

Bengals vs. Saint Mary's
Idaho State leads the overall series 3-2. ISU won the last meeting 3-1 on Mar. 22, 2009. Idaho State beat SMC 5-2 in 1982 and 5-0 in 1983.

Bengals vs. Sacramento State

Sacramento State lead the overall series 1-0. The Hornets defeated the Bengals 8-2 on Mar. 17, 2007.

Bengals vs. CSU Bakersfield
This is is the second-ever meeting between ISU and Bakersfield. Last year CSUB defeated ISU 6-3 on Apr. 2, 2010.

Kandis Clesson is back for her senior season. She already holds nearly every pitching record in ISU history. Clesson currently holds the single-season record for wins (16), games (45), starts (29), complete games (25), innings pitched (211.2). Clesson tops the Bengal career-records for appearances (108), complete games (49), innings pitched (511.2), and strikeouts (296). She is currently six wins away from being the all-time win leader.
