Bengals Fall 3-0 to Tulane and Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. -
Idaho State volleyball fell 3-0 to Tulane and Missouri in the first day of the Tiger Invitational at the Hearness Center.  Junior Breanne Van Every led the Bengals in kills in both matches. 

Van Every posted a game-high 12 kills against Tulane while posting a .312 hitting percentage.  Against Missouri both Van Every and Danielle Downs led ISU with eight kills each.  

Idaho State notched 10 team blocks against Tulane led by freshman Whitney Bartschi who had six assists and one solo block.  Against Missouri, ISU had just three team blocks. 

Libero Kylee Searle led ISU with 10 digs against Tulane and 12 against Missouri.  The setter battle still continues as Karissa led with 14 assists against Tulane and Lori Mendenhall led with 18 assists against Missouri.

Idaho State's contest with Missouri included 13 tied scores and four lead changes.

The Bengal finisht the tournament on Saturday, Aug. 27 by playing Binghamton at 9:30 a.m. and North Dakota State at 1:30 p.m. at the Hearness Center.
