Bengals Respond with 3-0 Victory Over Binghamton

COLUMBIA, Mo. -
After opening the Tiger Invitational with back-to-back 3-0 losses on the first day of competition the Bengals regrouped and responded with a 3-0 victory, 25-14, 25-21, 25-18, over Binghamton Saturday morning.  Junior Breanne Van Every and redshirt freshman Danielle Downs posted a game-high 13 kills.

Downs notched a .478 attack percentage posting 13 kills from 23 attack and just two errors.  Junior transfer Kimberly Naut posted a game-high .750 attack percentage when she hit three kills from four attacks with zero errors.

Libero Kylee Searle posted 13 digs to lead ISU for the third straight match.  Vanevery was two digs away from a double-double.  Sophomore setter Lori Mendenhall notched a season-high 32-assists.

The Bengals posted a .240 attck percentage and out-blocked Binghamton 6-to-2.  Idaho State improved to 1-2 for the season while Binghamton fell to 0-3.
