POCATELLO, Idaho- Through the first three games of the 2011 season the Idaho State offensive attack has shown that they will be one of the most potent offenses in the nation. That is evident by the most recent NCAA statistical rankings.
The Bengals lead the nation in passing at 468.33 yards per-game and are fifth in total offense at 504.67 yards a contest. ISU is averaging 38.33 points a game, which is the 12th best mark in the country.
Quarterback
Kevin Yost is 13th in the country in passing efficiency at 158.38 and first in the country in total offense at 405.67 yards a contest. In Saturday's win over Northern Colorado, Yost became only the third quarterback in program history to throw the ball for over 500 yards as he had 508 in the 50-20 win over the Bears.
Rodrick Rumble is second in the country at receptions per-game at 11.33 while his teammate
Derek Graves is tied for 14th at seven catches a game. Rumble leads the nation in receiving yards at 173.33, which also ranks 14th for all-purpose yards.
Yost and
Anthony Boyles were recognized by College Sports Performance Awards for their performance in the win over Northern Colorado. For the game Yost was 47-for-68 with four touchdowns and one interception while Boyles caught nine passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns.

Following NAU, the Bengals return home for two straight games beginning October 1 vs. Portland State at 1:30 p.m. That game is Homecoming and it is also the reunion of the 1981 National Championship Team. Montana then visits Holt Arena on Oct. 8. Kickoff for that game is at 4 p.m.
