POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State softball team continues play this weekend at the Aggie Stampede at UC Davis. The Bengals face UC Davis three times and Sacramento State twice. The tournament starts today at 12 p.m. against Sacramento State and ISU follows by playing UC Davis at 3 p.m.
The Bengals then play UC Davis at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 10 and the Hornets at 3 p.m. that afternoon. The Aggie Stampede concludes with a 10 a.m. contest on Sunday, March 11 against UC Davis.
UC Davis is 6-15 and this weekend is the first meeting between the two schools. Sacramento State is 10-8 and the overall series is tied at 1-1. Last year ISU defeated the Hornets 5-2 in Sacramento.
