POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State softball team lost 2-0 to Utah State on Wednesday afternoon in Logan, Utah. The Bengals dropped to 10-34 while Utah State improved to 16-31.
Idaho State was held to one hit on the day while the Aggies had six hits.
Courtney Dial had the only hit of the game for ISU in the second inning. Utah State scored its runs in the second and fourth innings.
Amanda Fitzsimmons took the loss as she went the distance, pitching six innings, striking out three and walking twice.
Idaho State closes out the 2012 season on Friday, April 28 and Saturday April 29 at 12 p.m. in doubleheaders against Utah Valley University at Miller Ranch Stadium.
