The Bengals (3-0-0) play in the 15th annual Governor's Cup this weekend. ISU faces Idaho Friday, Aug. 31 at 3:30 p.m. and Boise State Sunday, Sept. 2 at 2 p.m. at the Boas Soccer Complex in Boise, Idaho. Live stats for both match-ups will be available at

After scoring three goals and helping lead ISU to wins against North Dakota State and New Mexico State at the Holiday Inn Classic in Boise, Idaho, senior forward
Rachel Strawn was named Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week for matches played Aug. 17-20. Strawn has scored five goals and posted 10 shots with eight shots on goal so far this season. She has recorded 10 points and scored two game-winning goals.
BENGALS SELECTED SEVENTH IN PRESEASON POLL
The Idaho State women's soccer team has been selected to finish seventh in the 2012 Big Sky preseason poll. ISU received 39 points in the poll after finishing the 2011 season with a 2-5 conference record. ISU finished ahead of Eastern Washington, North Dakota and Southern Utah.
ABOUT GOVERNOR'S CUP
2012 marks the 15th annual clash between the in-state rivals of Idaho, Idaho State and Boise State in the competition for the Governor's Cup. Last year, Idaho tried to become the first team to win three in a row but fell to Boise State, handing the Broncos their sixth title. Boise State and Idaho State are now tied for the most Governor Cup titles with six a piece while Idaho has four. All three teams shared the title in 2004 when there was a three-way tie. ISU last won the Governor's Cup in 2007.
ABOUT BOISE STATE
Six Broncos have recorded a goal for Boise State this season: Lauren Hickok, Erica Parks, Anna Popma, Katy Oehring, Shannon Schueren and Rebe Wolverton. The Broncos are 2-2 on the season and are on a two-game losing streak after dropping contests to Washington State (6-0) and Gonzaga (2-1). Goalie Maddy McDevitt has posted 14 saves and allowed nine goals this season. She has also recorded one shut out.
SERIES INFO AND LAST MEETING WITH THE BRONCOS
Idaho State leads the series 7-6-1 and are 2-3-1 at Boise State. The Broncos won the last meeting Sept. 4, 2011 2-0. ISU won the game before that in 2010 in a 1-0 overtime win.
ABOUT IDAHO
The Vandals are 1-2-0 on the season and are a one-game losing streak after falling to Gonzaga 3-2. Four UI players have scored one goal so far this season: Jill Flockhart, Meli Cortez, Chelsea Small and Chelsie Breen. Goalie Liz Boyden has recorded 16 saves and one shut out and allowed five goals.
SERIES INFO AND LAST MEETING WITH THE VANDALS
The University of Idaho leads the series 6-4-3. The Bengals are 1-2-0 at neutral sites with the Vandals. UI is on a four-game win streak against ISU. Idaho State last defeated the Vandals 2-0 Sept. 9, 2007.
