BENGAL OVERVIEW
Idaho State (5-4-1) returns to Davis Field after spending a month on the road. The Bengals take on Southern Utah Friday, Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. and Northern Arizona Sunday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. Live stats, audio and video for both contests are available at

ABOUT IDAHO STATE
The Bengals are 5-4-1 on the season and are led by senior forward
Rachel Strawn who has netted eight goals. The 5-2 senior also leads ISU in points (17), shots (33), shots on goal (17) and game-winning goals (4). Sophomore forward
Amanda Ellsworth leads the assist effort with five on the season. At goal, freshman
Sheridan Hapsic has 16 saves and nine goals allowed. ISU has scored 18 goals this season and recorded 144 total shots.
Idaho State leads the conference in points, averaging 5.0 per game. The squad also leads in total goals (18), goals per game (1.8), assists (14) and assists per game (1.4). Strawn leads the conference indiviudally in points, points per game, goals and game-winning goals. She is second in the conference in shots and shots per game. Senior midfielder
Anna Pingree is third in the conference in goals (3). Ellsworth is leading the conference in assists (5) and is third in points (11).

Amanda Ellsworth scored ISU's fastest goal from the start of the game with a goal scored 22 seconds into the contest. ISU dropped the game 2-1 in Cheney, Wash.
SOCCER STANDOUT: RACHEL STRAWN
With the game-winning overtime goal against Utah Valley, senior
Rachel Strawn became the first Bengal to score four game-winning goals in a season since 2001. Strawn continues to work her way up in the ISU record books. For her career, she is currently third in both points (43), game-winning goals (8) and goals with 14. She is also tied for fourth in assists (15). As far as her single-season stats for the 2012 campaing go, she is tied for second all-time in game-winning goals (4) and tied for second in goals with eight.
After scoring three goals and helping lead ISU to wins against North Dakota State and New Mexico State at the Holiday Inn Classic in Boise, Idaho, Strawn was named Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week for matches played Aug. 17-20. Strawn has scored eight goals and posted 33 shots with 17 shots on goal so far this season. She has recorded 17 points and scored four game-winning goals.
PINGREE LEADS BENGALS AT THE MIDFIELD
Anna Pingree continues to be a strong presence for ISU in the midfield. She scored her fourth goal of the season in the 55th minute against UVU, putting ISU up 1-0. The goal also marked the second time this season that Pingree has been the first player to put ISU on the board this season.
Pingree scored three goals at the Governor's Cup, earning co-Big Sky Player of the Week honors. Pingree helped ISU shutout Idaho 2-0 with a volley on a corner kick for the goal to put the Bengals up 2-0. The Bengals improved to 4-0-0 after the win over Idaho, the first time ISU has started at 4-0 since the 2004 season. Pingree scored two goals against Boise State in a 3-2 overtime loss. She tied the game 1-1 in the 58th minute and scored again in the 69th minute to put ISU up 2-1. Pingree has four goals on the season and two assists for a total of 10 points.
ELLSWORTH SCORES ISU'S FASTEST GOAL
In ISU's 2-1 loss to Eastern Washington, sophomore forward
Amanda Ellsworth helped ISU jump to a very early lead with a goal in the 22nd second of the game. The goal is ISU's fastest goal from the start of the game. Stacey Peterson previously held the record, scoring 36 seconds into the game against Youngstown State in 2002.
PROMOTIONS THIS WEEK
Both contests this weekend will have promotions. Friday's game against Southern Utah will be Cush Your Tush. The first 100 fans to the game will recieve a free seat cushion. Saturday's contest against Nothern Arizona is Jersey Day. Show up to the game wearing an ISU jersey and receive a $1 ticket.
ABOUT SOUTHERN UTAH
Southern Utah is currently 1-5-1 overall and 0-1-0 in confernce play. The Thunderbirds lost their last match-up 1-0 to Northern Arizona. Stacey Brinkman leads SUU with two goals, four points, 21 shots and seven shots on goal. Goalie Charley Booth has recorded 42 saves with just 12 goals allowed this season. As a team, SUU is No. 2 in the conference in goals allowed (1.71).
SERIES INFO AND LAST MEETING WITH THE THUNDERBIRDS
Idaho State leads the serires 9-1-0 and is 4-0-0 when in Pocatello. The Bengals are on a five-game winning streak against the Thunderbirds. ISU won the last meeting between the two programs Aug. 19, 2011 in a 2-0 decision. Southern Utah's only win against ISU came on Sept. 15, 2005 in a 1-0 final.
ABOUT NORTHERN ARIZONA
Northern Arizona is currently 3-5-2 overall and 1-0-0 in conference action. The Lumberjacks are on a two-game win streak with victories over San Jose State and Southern Utah. The team is second in the Big Sky in saves, averaging 6.4 per game. Haley Wingender leads NAU with two goals, five points, 24 shots, eight shots on goal and one game-winning goal. Demi Schmeider leads in assists with three. Goalkeeper Lauren Weaver is second in the conference in save percentage (.824). She has recorded 28 saves and one shutout with six goals allowed.
SERIES INFO AND LAST MEETING WITH THE LUMBERJACKS
The series between ISU and NAU is tied 7-7-3 overall and ISU is 5-1-2 against the Lumberjacks at Davis Field. NAU won the last meeting 1-0 on Oct. 7, 2011. ISU's last win against the Lumberjacks came on Nov. 15, 2009 in Pocatello.
