Box Score
POCATELLO, Idaho - Idaho State beat Montana in straight sets (25-17, 25-17, 25-17) tonight in Reed Gym. The Bengals move to 10-7 on the season and 4-2 in Big Sky play.

"It's good," said Head Coach Chad Teichert. "I think we're playing better now and winning [against Montana State and Montana] puts us in a lot better situation. Our team is a lot healthier now which helps. We played well last night. We played really well tonight."

Marissa Todd led the Bengals in kills tonight with 15, a career high. She had an attack percentage of .462.

"[My success] happens when the hitters get kills. It's really all the hitters," said setter Lori Mendenhall-Lee, who led in assists with 39. "Every single hitter was on tonight and that really helps in that department. They deserve the credit on that."

Whitney Harrington followed Todd with 11 kills. Makenzie Filer had eight, Alydia Fields-Grimm had six and Tressa Lyman had five. Lyman also posted a team-high 10 digs.

As a team, the Bengals posted a .327 attack percentage, including a first-set high of .552. The Griz posted a .132 attack percentage. Idaho State out-blocked Montana 19-10.

"We hit .327 which is really good and we out-blocked them 19-10. They're the leading team in conference for blocking. It's pretty impressive that we didn't get blocked very much and we almost doubled their blocks."

The Bengals play on the road at Weber State on Wednesday, Oct. 9 before returning home on Saturyday, Oct. 12 to take on Sacramento State. Both games are set for 7 p.m.
