"It's always nice to win," said Head Coach
Chad Teichert. "Northern Colorado has been one of the top teams in the conference for several years now, ever since I've been here. They lost a couple of players they didn't anticipate on losing, and so they're not where they intended to be, but they're still good. They're well coached, and they've got some good athletes. We can't overlook them because they are still good. To get a win against Northern Colorado is always a big deal."
The Bengals are back on the road next weekend to take on Montana and Montana State. They return home on Nov. 13 to play Weber State.
