POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State returns to the road for five games at the Easton Desert Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Bengals are set to face Nevada, Utah, Ohio, Oregon State and San Jose State during the three-day tournament. Fans can follow the games via live stats on isubengals.com. On Feb. 15, Idaho State plays Nevada at 10 a.m. and Utah at 4:45 p.m. On Feb. 16, ISU plays Ohio at 12:15 p.m. and Oregon State at 4:45 p.m. and the Classic concludes on Feb. 17 with a 2:30 p.m. contest vs. San Jose State. All times listed are mountain standard time.
MOLYNEAUX BREAKS CAREER STOLEN BASE RECORD

Becky Molyneaux broke the career stolen base record during the season-opening tournament in St. George. Molyneaux was three-for-three over the weekend and now has 22 stolen bases on 26 attempts since the start of the 2012 season. Emily Hu previously held the record with 20 on 22 attempts.
GALASSO NAMED FIRST-EVER BIG SKY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Vicky Galasso had an impressive opening weekend as the sophomore catcher hit .563 with four homeruns and 10 RBI while going nine-for-16 from the plate. Galasso also had a 1.438 slugging percentage. The four homeruns hit during the opening weekend topped her mark from 2012 where she hit three. Galasso's numbers earned her Big Sky Player of the Week and Bengal Athlete of the Week honors.
IMPROVED PLAY IN 2013
The Bengals 2-3 start is the program's best start since it was brought back in 2007. In 2007, it took the Bengals 11 games to get win number two and 20 games for win three. In 2008 it took ISU 21 games for win two and 22 games for win three. In 2009, ISU got win two on game nine and and win three on game 11. In 2010, the Bengals got win two on game six and and win three on game seven. In
Julie Wright's first year in 2011, ISU got win two on game eight and win three on game nine and last year ISU picked up its second win on the seventh game and third win on game 14.
BENGALS GO LONG
Idaho State hit eight homeruns last weekened in St. Geoerge. In 2012, it took Idaho State 32 games to hit eight homeruns and ISU only hit 21 for the entire 2012 season.
BIG SKY CONFERENCE ADDS SOFTBALL
Idaho State is no longer in the Pacific Coast Softball Conference. The Big Sky Conference now sponsors softball with the additions of North Dakota and Southern Utah to the league. Conference games will be a three-game series instead of four as in PCSC play.
