Bengals vs. Opponents
Boise State leads the overall series 9-3. The Bengals lost 7-6 in nine innings in Pocatello last season. Utah State leads the series 24-10. The two teams split a two-game series last year with ISU winning 1-0 in Pocatello and losing 2-0 in Logan.
Bengals in the NCAA Stats
As a team, Idaho State ranks 19th in homeruns per game at 1.17, 35th in slugging percentage at .483 and 54th in batting average (.301).
Vicky Galasso ranks in the Top 30 in four different categories. She is 18th in batting average (.474), 24th in homeruns per game (.39), 15th in slugging percentage at .930 and 30th homeruns with seven.

Idaho State is first in slugging percentage (.483), on base percentage (.364), hits (145), RBI (79), homeruns (21), total bases (233) and stolen bases (22). ISU is second in runs scored and fewest hits allowed.
Individual Bengals Among Big Sky Stat Leaders
Vicky Galasso ranks in the Top 5 in seven different statistical categories. She is first in batting average (.474), slugging percentage (.930), on base percentage (.508), runs scored (17), homeruns (7) and total bases (53). She is fifth in doubles with five.
Amanda Fitzsimmons is second in slugging percentage (.643), fourh in on base percentage (.453), homeruns (4) and innings pitched (66). She is fifth in strikeouts at 44.
Katelyn Marquez is tied for second in runs scored with 12 and first in stolen bases with 10.
Katee Wiley is fifth in batting average at .327 and
Becky Molyneaux is second in stolen bases with seven.
Offensive Power
Through the first four weekends, Idaho State has hit 21 homeruns in 18 games and hitting .301 as a team. ISU hit 21 homeruns in 2012 and the team record is 35 hit by the 2011 team. The best team batting average was .286 in the 2009 season and .284 in 2010.
Fitzsimmons Nearing ISU Career Records
Amanda Fitzsimmons is tied or close to breaking several Idaho State career records. She is tied for first in RBI with Jessica Baca at 69 and doubles with Chris Shoemaker at 23. Her 17 homeruns in her career is tied for second behind Heather Dixon's 19.
