COLUMBIA, Mo. - Idaho State topped Pittsburgh in three games to wrap up the Tiger Invitational hosted by the University of Missouri. Earlier, they fell to the University of Missouri in three games.
Redshirt junior Kylee Searle-Sessions was named to the all-tournament team. Searle-Sessions had tournament-high 17 digs in the Bengals loss to South Dakota State and had 11 digs against both Pittsburgh and Arkansas State.
Against Pittsburgh, the Bengals won 25-16, 25-23 and 25-20. They had a .321 attack percentage compared to Pittsburgh's .172. Against Missouri, the Bengals fell 25-19, 25-15 and 25-20. The Bengals had a .200 attack percentage while Missouri had .410.
Next weekend, the Bengals continue their season at the University of New Mexico Tournament on Sept. 6-7 in Albuquerque, N.M.
