Live Stats POCATELLO, Idaho- After three games on the road, the Idaho State men's basketball team plays its home opener on Wednesday, November 26 vs. Utah Valley University. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. in Reed Gym. To follow the game online log onto isubengals.com.
Idaho State leads the series 4-1. This is the first meeting between the two schools since an ISU win in Pocatello during the 2006-07 season. The Bengals only loss was 52-45 in Orem during the 2004-05 season.
Utah Valley comes into Wednesday's game with a 2-1 record. UVU is scoring 65 points a game and giving up 67.3. Mitch Bruneel leads UVU in scoring at 16 points and 6.7 rebounds a game. Zach Nelson is scoring 12.7 points and 6.7 rebounds a game while Marcel Davis is scoring 11 points a game. UVU is shooting 44 percent from the field.
Hansen Putting Up the PointsChris Hansen is on pace to become the 20th Bengal in program history to reach the 1,000 point mark for a career this season. In two plus seasons he has scored 883 points in his career. He scored 342 as a sophomore and 481 as a junior last season. He has scored 60 points through the first two games.
Cleaning the GlassJeffrey Solarin proved to be one the best rebounders in the Big Sky Conference last year as he averaged 8.5 rebounds a game. In the first three games of the 2014-15 season he is averaging 8.3 boards a game. He has a season-high 14 rebounds at Denver.
The Week That WasIn the Bengals only game of the week, ISU lost 80-68 at Washington State.
Chris Hansen led ISU with 28 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the field. ISU shot 48.2 percent from the field and 57.7 percent in the second half.

Long RangeChris Hansen enters his senior season ranked third all-time for 3-pointers made and attempted. He has made 158 three-pointers on 409 attempts. David Schroeder holds the record for most 3-pointers made in a career with 211 and Austin Kilpatrick holds the top mark for three-pointers attempted with 510. Kilpatrick is second in the career record books for 3-pointers made with 183 and Schroeder is second in 3-pointers attempted with 490.
