Bengals Continue Play at Montana State on Thursday

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team is in the middle of playing four games in eight days. The Bengals are 2-0 during the stretch, winning at SUU, 75-65, and beating Weber State at home on Monday, 78-75, in overtime. The Bengals play at Montana State on Thursday, Feb. 20 and at Montana on Saturday, Feb. 22. Montana State leads the series 104-83. The Bengals have won three of the last four meetings. ISU's last win in Bozeman was 87-86 on Feb. 2, 2012. Idaho State has won in Bozeman four times since the 2000-01 season.

Montana State is 12-13 and 7-7 in Big Sky Conference play. The Bobcats are averaging 69.6 points a game and led by Flavien Davis' 12.4 points overall and 14.1 points per game in conference. MSU is shooting .451 percent from the field and averaging 31.6 rebounds a game.

Century Mark
Idaho State and Montana State is the longest standing rivarly in program history. The teams have battled it out 187 times. The Bobcats lead the series 104-83. Montana is the second-longest rivarly as the teams have played 142 times with UM leading the series 96-46. Idaho State has played Weber State 124 times, Boise State 107 times and Idaho 103.

Hansen Putting up the Points
Since arriving at Idaho State, Chris Hansen has proven to be an instant scorer for the Bengals. He has scored 741 points in just under two seasons. He currently has scored in double figures in 18 straight games and in 21 of the 23 games this season. Hansen has scored 20 points or more eight times this year and three times in the 2012-13 season. For his career he has scored in double figures in 37 of 53 games.

- Other then the loss at Northern Colorado where the Bengals shot .563 percent, ISU has not shot better than 48.1 percent in the other 12 losses. In seven of the losses, ISU has shot less than 44 percent.
