Saturday Game Update: Today's double header vs. SUU has been canceled. Their will be a double header on Sunday, April 27, at 10 a.m. at Miller Ranch Stadium.
POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State hosts Southern Utah in a three-game battle for the top spot in the Big Sky Conference Saturday and Sunday. The series starts with a doubleheader Saturday, April 26, at 1 p.m. and the final game will be played Sunday, April 27, at 1 p.m.
There is no admission fee for games at Miller Ranch Stadium and live video, audio and live stats will all be available at isubengals.com. Live stats are available via bengalstats.com on your mobile device.
Saturday is social media day. Fans that come up to the marketing table in center field and show that you follow the Bengals on twitter, facebook or instagram will receive a free prize while supplies last. Sunday is Bark in the Park. The first 30 people that bring their dog to center field will win a prize pack.
The Week That WasIdaho State was 4-0 last week with an 8-7 win over Utah Valley and three wins over Northern Colorado. The Bengals defeated UNC 12-0 (5 innings), 9-8 and 6-4.
Hailey Breakwell was eight-for-12 with seven RBIs, three home runs and a 1.417 slugging percentage and
Vicky Galasso was seven-for-11 with three doubles, two home runs, two RBIs and a 1.455 slugging percentage to lead the Bengals at the plate.
Haley Douglas and
Bailey Foster earned two wins each in the circle. Douglas had a 3.36 ERA in 16.2 inning pitched and struck out 11. Foster struck out seven in 6.1 inning pitched.
About Southern UtahSouthern Utah is 19-24 and 9-2 in Big Sky Conference play. The T-Birds are hitting .301 and boast a team ERA of .525. Madison Resley is batting .400 with seven home runs and 35 RBIs. Kylee Wolf is hitting .382 with five home runs and 23 RBIs. Ariel Hart is 8-7 in the circle in 84.1 innings pitched.

Haley Douglas,
Katee Wiley and
Terah Blackwell will be honored. The three seniors have helped the Bengals make history and set numerous school records the last two years.
Bengals in the NCAA StatsAs of April 20, Idaho State has the sixth best batting average in the country at .344. ISU ranks fourth in scoring at 7.05 runs per game and has the 19th best slugging percentage at .514. The Bengals are 37th in home runs per game (1.0) and 42nd in stolen bases per game (1.47).
Individually,
Terah Blackwell leads the nation in RBI per game at 1.51. Blackwell is 10th in home runs (15), 11th in home runs per game at .35 and 33rd in slugging percentage at .774.
Kacie Burnett is second in the nation in runs per game at 1.23, sixth in triples with five and she boasts the eighth best batting average at .467. Burnett is 15th in triples per game (.12), 24th in stolen bases per game (.58) and 25th in on base percentage (.527).
Vicky Galasso is second in the nation in runs per game (1.23), sixth in RBIs per game (1.28), 10th in home runs (15), 11th in home runs per game (.35) and 13th sacrifice flies (4).
Bailey Foster is 19th in saves with three and
Maddy Hickman is eighth in sacrifice flies with five.
