Bengals Fall 3-1 at Colorado

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State volleyball team dropped its opening match of the Omni Invitational at the University of Colorado on Friday evening. The Bengals (2-5) fell to Colorado (6-1) 25-20 in the first set, 25-15 in set two, won set three 25-23 before losing set four 25-12.

Tressa Lyman led the Bengal attack with 10 kills. Bailey Barrs had nine kills and Hayley Farrer had 28 assists. Kylee Sessions had 12 digs while Alydia Fields-Grimm finished with 11.

The Bengal offense had a .136 attack percentage while Colorado had a .321 hitting percentage.

Idaho State continues play in Boulder, Colo., on Saturday with a 10 a.m. contest against Butler and a 5:30 p.m. match against Robert Morris.

ISU plays its home opener on Tuesday, September 16 vs. No. 9 BYU at 7 p.m.
