Live StatsPOCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State softball team takes a break from Big Sky Conference play to host Utah Valley University from the Western Athletic Conference. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. Live video, stats and audio will be available at isubengals.com.
UVU leads the series 21-15 but the Bengals have won five of the last six meetings. In 2014, ISU beat UVU 9-8 in eight innings in Orem and 8-7 in Pocatello.
UVU won the 2014 WAC Conference tournament, earning the program's first berth to the NCAA regionals. This year the Wolverines are 16-32 and 3-9 in WAC play. UVU has a team batting average .258 and an era in circle of 6.02.
Up NextIdaho State plays a three-game series at Northern Colorado April 24-25. before returning home to host North Dakota May 2-3.
