Bengals Host North Dakota on Senior Weekend

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State softball team closes out the 2015 regular season May 1-2 at Miller Ranch Stadium vs. North Dakota. The double header on May 1 starts at 2 p.m. while the May 2 contest will begins at 1 p.m.  Following Friday's double header fans will have an opportunity to get autographs from the softball team and on Saturday the senior class of Vicky Galasso, Hailey Breakwell, Gabby Lopez and Amanda Ellsworth will be honored before the start of the game at 12:35 p.m. To follow the series all weekend with live video, audio and stats log onto isubengals.com.

Idaho State leads the series 6-1. Last year ISU won two of three in Grand Forks to clinch the regular season title for the second straight season.

North Dakota is 12-38 and 1-17 in Big Sky Conference play. UND is hitting .252 as a team with Shelby Hard leading the way with a .340 average, 14 home runs and 35 RBIs. The pitching staff boasts a 7.98 era with Hanna Bergh getting 138.1 innings of work. She is 8-17 in the circle.

- In conference play the Bengal pitching staff boats a 2.88 era while opposing pitching staffs have a 7.17 era.  ISU is also hitting .350 in conference games.
